So, my first week went well at placement (I’m working in reception in a primary school)... the only thing I’m concerned about atm is... I don’t have to wear a mask, no temp checks and socially distancing from young children is absolutely impossible.. the good thing is, they wash their hands so much! 👏🏻

My school allow us to wear masks or videos if we want to, and they will provide it too. Maybe just say you would feel more comfortable especially as it's a placement so they dont know where you were before this, and same for the placement you have after this. We also have teacher only zones so bright floor tape around our desks, I know that probably wont work so well with reception
Makes me laugh 😅 yesterday I saw a group of primary school teachers from Erin's school at a pub in town 😂I suppose they are human and have lives outside of work but you know, they wasn't wearing masks there either 😂I was doing last minute shopping btw not in the pub lol xx
@laurabump27 I understand, the only thing I question is why would she sacrifice her job if there wasn't some truth in what she's saying? That just doesn't make sense to me. X
@ezchaz no idea.. but i dont believe a word shes saying.
Shes a healthcare assistant.. so shes not a nurse and she certainly wouldn't have access to information like that.
Not only that if it was true.. there would be alot more whistleblowers than her... if i stood up in the town with a mic and speaker and said i had the cure to covid.. it might be crazy but im sure some would.listen and I'd defo be on the media somewhere!

I was just thinking, I could have covid and not know? I know it’s upto us as adults to use our common sense but if I was a parent in that situation new people coming in, etc I would feel angry I guess and at the same time I’m thinking of me and my family I’m putting them at risk, luckily I won’t be seeing them which is a bonus in the situation we’re in, I dunno whether I’m overthinking everything xxx

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
