Head strap isnt for new borns it's for older babies to hold the head in place (never used it)
There shouldn't be any toys, straps are loose, chest clip isnt positioned right, coat is way to big and NOT supposed to be on in the car as new borns get hotter than toddlers, the koala bears for the straps is a smothering hazard & that blanket is just too damn huge. . Wtf is going on here. 🤔🤦♀️
What’s the strap across the top? Definitely need to remove that. Jacket is too thick, straps too loose, chest clip too low. Not sure about that newborn positioner thing, I never used that with my babies.
Maybe it’s like this because doctors do not inform parents what should and shouldn’t be in a carseat they jst make sure the baby is buckled in and let’s them leave ..! They Dnt even check that the baby is properly buckled in .. well atleast my hospital didn’t check any of that . All they checked was that the carseat base was installed in the car properly
Its bc sadly most hospitals aren't trained with carseats. Mine wasnt. Even the birth amd family class we went to has no carseat education. I was grateful my aunt is a state trooper and carseat tech.
That’s so true. Luckily mine at least checked the straps and everything before I left. They never checked the base though 🤷🏾♀️
My hospital was opposite. Checked to see if baby was buckled and fit properly but didn't come to the vehicle to check installation of the carseat.
There’s just too much going on. Wtf is that head band thing?? I’ve never seen that.
I’ve seen ppl use them for toddlers/kids to keep the head up while they are sleeping and forward facing. But I have no idea how or why that would work on a baby if they are reclining anyway
If someone has to use that on a child forward facing, they should still be RF lol.
