Okay so my daughter is doing the weirdest thing and I'm wondering if anyone else's babies are doing this or have done this!! I've never had a problem with her eating until now but I noticed yesterday that she is chewing her food up and just holding it in her mouth, but continuously taking bites and chewing until her mouth is completely full..I'm guessing she tries to swallow it, or maybe the texture of the chewed up mouth full of food is making her throw up, so she throws it all up... She literally done this all day long yesterday with everything that she ate!!! I don't know what to do.. looking for advice!

OMG this is so ironic Haisleigh literally two days ago did this with her oatmeal but just her oatmeal that day. Didn’t do it again. I’m thinking it was just a short phase.

Thankfully it was just a day for you! I'm having a hard time with this girl. I havent got a clue to why shes doing it.
Maybe give her soft easy to chew foods. Maybe also limit the amount given, she can always ask for more. So if its strawberries and she eats 3 whole ones....cut up a quarter and give it at a time.
Everything we give her, is cut up, and we do give her easy to chew foods ! We also limit the amount given. Yesterday, I started only giving a bite at a time and my plan was to wait till she swallows it before giving another bite. Well, she did it with each individual bite. I don't know why she is doing it !! Its so frustrating.
Every bite I gave her, she would chew up , leave in her mouth then spit it up after holding it in. I kept telling her to swallow her food, she wouldn't. She would keep it in her mouth until it either made her throw up, or she intentionally spit it out. 😫😫😫 and it's her favorite foods that she has always eaten. I'm not understanding what the problem could be.
My 3 year old does this and it drives me nuts! She’s not a great eater and I believe she’s doing it because she knows I can’t keep feeding her if her mouths full.
@isabellesmom93 sorry to hear about your baby, that's hard. Watching them hurt from teething. I heard the molars are the most painful ones.
@angikay, ugh it is, teething is the worst😩 hopefully your daughter starts eating again!
@isabellesmom93 I know, I hate teething. Poor babies !! My time is coming again soon and I'm not looking forward to it at all. Thanks for all of your advice and for your input, I hope she starts eating again soon too because I feel like a terrible mother at night when she goes to bed, like shes starving or something because of what she does and me not being able to help her and figure it out. Parenting is so hard.
