How much do you spend on each kid and your spouse on Christmas? Do you base the budget around their age range? For Christmas this year my budget for my son and niece is $150 and for my boyfriend I was thinking $200 what do you guys think? Or does it depend on what they want. Also do you try and get the kids the same amount of gifts?

So only $75 per kid? I’d personally spend more on the children and less on boyfriend. I do the 5 things...Want, need, wear, read and experience. I don’t have set budget for daughter. I usually spend $50 each on niece and nephew. I don’t buy spouse anything.

No $150 each. They both have everything they need. I was thinking books, few toys and clothes? Normally I do $50 for my niece as well but this year my sister wont be here or be able to buy her anything so I wanna make sure she has a great Christmas.

I spend it based on what they want and need. I usually get one big toy and then smaller toys. We also do something special like see a play or go away for the weekend to make memories( we were supposed to go to NYC this year). My budget for kiddo and hubby is usually around $500 a piece but I don't keep track very well because I shop throughout the year for kiddos random toys.
For nieces and nephews (5 total) I cap it at $100.
I also agree to spend more on the kiddo versus the boyfriend.

Yeah my sons birthday is a few days after Christmas so I don’t wanna over-do it since we might do a small birthday party. I mean they pretty much have everything they need but I think it’s such a good idea you shop year around definitely wanna start doing that next year.

Me and hubs don’t do Christmas gifts really. I only did last year for him because I knew he wanted some thing. We usually just buy whatever we want throughout the year and say “look what you bought me” 🤣
But as for the children in the family there’s way too many of them. So the brother in law and his wife that has eight kids just get cash.
The other kids get $15 in gifts.
I usually spend around $150-$200 on my daughter. I shop throughout the year and find deals.
Mine and hubs’s parents get $20 gifts.

What m my husband & I decided to do last year was buy our kids three toys each..one big toy , then a medium one and then a small one. Then we just buy them clothes like pajamas, socks and so on. We try to stay under maybe $300 for everything.

I don’t even want to say I am horrible and spend way too much I am trying this year to spend very little. My advice to you is keep it small I think $150 per kid is good and then your kids don’t expect the world every Christmas like mine smh. I don’t usually get my man gifts like sometimes if I see something small I will but he’s picky, I’m picky so we usually just go shopping together for our gifts.

I don’t go crazy because his birthday is January 6 and I want to make sure he feels special on both days. Also, he’s only 3 and he’s impressed with anything. As he grows older the gifts will get more expensive so I’m just chilling right now lol.

Equal i have to buy everything the same with my girls. I really don't spend alot. Foster care kids get free gifts. I have 3 places giving them gifts. I fill the stockings. Hubby about $250.00 and he spend $250.00. Satan claus get the girls gifts too which is hubby and i.

When step daughter was with us it was same amount of gifts there is 6 year difference between kids but if now since she is older it would be same amount if money in each kid

We don't have a set limit for.our daughter. We don't buy each other gifts. If there is something on sale we need, we get it. We probably spend around $125 on her in total.
