Why can’t women make medical choices for themselves without being questioned?
I went to the Gyn today to discuss getting an ablation done. I have HORRENDOUS periods. They are very long. And very heavy. They told me to come back in 6 months and we’d reevaluate and maybe in a year they’d consider it.
Or you know. You could just burn out my uterine lining like I asked for 😒😒😒😒

Rightttt!!! I asked for a oophorectomy because i have pcos and i get very bad cysts constantly. My cycle is random i could have one or not . If i do never know how long its gonna last. Ive asked twice and got a straight up "No i don't wanna do that" for blahh blahh bs reasons.

I also find it extremely weird that they further women’s medical choice but making them be a certain age and have to get their SO permission before they can get their tubes tied. Idk why we can’t just want what we want and get it done

Yes they do. My husband got it done after our son was born and I had to be there to sign a consent form. I couldn’t even do it from home, they needed it in person 😳

@albertrettazariah1386, @squishymommy1, yes men need their spouse to sign off on a vasectomy. At least that’s how it is where I live. My husband got it done after our son was born. I had to be at the consultation and sign a consent form otherwise they wouldn’t do it. It’s crazy to me but I guess it’s a legal thing.

Where I live a man can go get a vasectomy with no requirements other than being 25. They don’t need consent from anyone other than themselves and they aren’t required to have children first. It’s ridiculous. I’ve asked my doctor if we can do something about my crazy period and all she says is birth control
