So confused. So my due date is December 11 . I didn’t find out I am pregnant till I was 4 months in . I ask my doctors when I conceived & he said May 9 but the thing is the months don’t add up . If my due date is December 11 I must had conceived on March plus I had taken a pregnancy test on April & it was a negative . I took another pregnancy test on June & that’s when I found I was pregnant and almost 4 months in .. this is hella confusing 😐

Yes they have I went in late my first anatomy scan I was already 17 weeks in .

I was on birth control plus I was drinking a lot of beer on April mostly everyday . I quit drinking on May & I felt nauseous but thought it was cause I stopped drinking & was the side effects of not drinking . Plus I had already taken a pregnancy test on the last days of April & it was negative so that’s why I couldn’t believe or understand how far a long I was .
Have you received any ultrasounds? They can roughly determine dates and are only off by about 2 weeks.

If they are going based off ultrasound it is not accurate for due date after 12 weeks. So your conception is more then likely in March. You could have tested to early or hit what they call the bell curve. Pregnancy tests do have a maximum limit they can read hcg.
@hazelcoco yea it isnt the most accurate at measurements at that stage. Most of the research I have read actually suggests that an ultrasound beyond 8 weeks is not accurate for due date and Gestational measurements. My only suggestion is I wouldnt accept induction ever. But are they measuring your fundal height as well (this isnt ever going to be very accurate but can give you a good idea after 20 weeks).
@no062014, No I have not gotten a fungal height done and I didn’t get one done neither on my last pregnancy ( that I remember of) I had to google the meaning . I guess every doctor does things differently & no way I am not pushing into induction either.
@hazelcoco you can do it yourself if you'd like. All you need is a tape measure. It could be off but give you a 4 week time frame typically
By my due date i conceived In may, I'm due in febuary. Your first ultrasound is accurate and has the baby's measurements so they go off of that if you didn't know your Last missed period.

@hazelcoco ok, well he's just got your conception date wrong...u can Google when you conceived by putting in your due date or just got up three months from your due date, which would be around March 11

Yeah that’s way off. I had my first daughter December 13th and she was conceived around March 15th the dr said. So they are way wrong somewhere

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
