HEY MOMMAS Grayson is 3 months now and wanna be a big boy sooo bad lol . Today he was diagnosed with laryngomalacia which just means his tissues in his throat didn’t form properly and they are loose and flappy which causes him to breathe very loud. like he’s squeaky and always sounds congested . He also was lip and tongue tied so the clipped both so he would hopefully have no more trouble latching or drinking from different bottles . He cranky and his mouth bleeds at times but he’s still has smiles on him ❤️❤️❤️. Has any one of you mommas had a baby born with laryngomacaia If so how long did the loud breathing and squeaking last ? They said he could 1yrs before those tissue strengthen to the point where he isn’t squeaky anymore
I'm so happy his case isn't as severe and hope he will grow out of it fast!!! Prayers for good results on his swallow test!!!!
Oh! Sorry, I didn't finish my thought. She is just over 4.5 now and has occasional squeaks that come out of nowhere but mostly only when she is ill. She was about 2.5 when it started slowing down and then gradually got better and now as I said it's healed(for the most part). No longer the daily breathing struggles like when she was baby. She would pinch off for what seemed like an eternity and turn blue when she was really little. So it can be scary. I'm grateful she is so much better and her sister didn't have it. Big hugs mama!!!
My 4 yr old also had Laryngomalacia and thankfully has grown out of it. They really weren't sure she would bc it was a moderate case. Praises to God for healing her of it. I hope your sweet baby has the same outcome. He is the cutest!!! Congratulations!!!
I don’t have experience with this, but just want to say that he is absolutely adorable! 🥰
Ok so my son just got his first job. He’s also type 1 diabetic. Well last night while working his sensor starts going off his blood sugar dropped to 52. They told him he could deal with it after he got his orders done, which in a way I understand that but at the same time if it drops low enough he can pass out and that won’t be good for anyone!! They wouldn’t even let him just grab some glucose tabs out of his bag. I’m so torn here because I don’t know what’s appropriate and what’s not.
So, our downstairs neighbors have been banging on the ceiling every time our son walks. It scares him every time because it’s loud and he can feel it. I’m about over it. He’s TWO. He’s learning how to walk quietly but it’s hard for him. After about the 10th bang, I usually just put him in his high chair or his room. But I shouldn’t have to trap my kid in his own house bc of rude grown adults.
I’ve been thinking this for awhile. But I think Kyson has a hearing problem. At first I thought he was just ignoring me but I will tell him something 5x in front of his face and he still can’t hear me. I’ll call his name to the point of screaming it and he won’t hear me. But sometimes he’s fine and can hear. He’s never complained that the tv was to low (unless it really was) but he has complained the tv be to loud when it wasn’t. So idk any thoughts???
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
My son has to see a pediatric Gastroenterologist for his puking and pooping issues. My poor baby, I feel so bad for him especially with his pooping. I hope the appointment is sometime this year and I also hope the weather holds up as we will have to travel about an hour as there are none where I live. 😕 also he has a wheat allergy which he seems to be fine when eating wheat but she said maybe it could be affecting him in another way with his bowels or making him puke so have to minimize that fro...
@xryztalroze, oh wow that is very scary the turning blue !! It hasn’t affected his breathing like that so I know it’s not as severe as your babies was ... but it is a lot to deal with specially feeding because he’ll start coughing and choking out of no where or he’ll burp and it’ll come out his nose . I’m pumping exclusively so hopefully now that he has gotten his tongue and lip snipped maybe he will be able to latch on to my breast now and use some of his others bottles because drinking from bottles was hard as well . They have him going to take a swallowing examine test to make sure that his troubles with latching was just because of the lip and tongue tie and nothing else since that was corrected
