I hate when people can’t control their kids. Went to the dentist the kids just climbing all over stuff, bothering people and messing with this women’s hair. Raising my son to be respectful and not be a pest to people because it takes the right person to say something to the kid and here the parents go getting mad.
Question 🙋🏽 ♀ : what age do you allow your kids to have a cell phone? My son wants a phone and I don’t know why lol. I’m like you have a iPad for games and anyone you need to call you can have my phone.
#mombassadorchat Moms, Today's #mombassadorchat is with @believeinbuddha on crafting!! Here's her bio: Hi there! I'm the Buddhist Mama. I am 27 years old and from central California. I have four children; Ava, Ella, Zeus, and Harley Quinn. I am no stranger to struggle and have seen my share of ups and downs in life. No matter what the universe throws at me I like to stay positive and take everything as a lesson to be learned and wisdom to be gained. I like to focus on what truly matters in life, like the small stuff; feeling a sense of accomplishment and pride. One way I help to build these feelings up in myself is by crafting. Pinterest is my life! I get so much joy every day from just being inspired and I try to spread that joy in every way that I can. I love my ability to utilize this community of you wonderful moms. Mom Life is an incredible blessing for me which I am so thankful for. We are all here to support one another and share our stories, strength, and hope. I look forward to getting to know everyone and helping this app grow! Tips I have for crafting: 1. Use what you already have. Look around your house; you can craft with anything from old curtains to clothes, broken jewelry or scrap wood. Go outside! You can use rocks, cardboard, and recyclables for various projects as well. 2. Find ideas on Pinterest. I get all of my ideas from here! 3. Check out budget stores. Dollar tree, 99 cent store, Dollar General and thrift shops are always rotating their inventory to bring in new products. You will be surprised what you can find! 4. Invest in a glue gun. A good glue gun will run you about $7.50 and a large pack of glue sticks is $10 for 100 sticks. This will come in handy, trust me. It expands your ability to craft! A large pack of sticks lasts me months so its perfect for moms on a budget. 5. Coupon. If you go to the craft stores make sure you bring all the coupons you can find. The store sites usually have a few posted and if you sign up for their email news letter they send you extra ones too. You can use all the coupons you find because at most craft stores there's no limit. But always check your local Wal-Mart first! I have found that paint and felt for example is less than half the price there. Ask @believeinbuddha a question by tagging her in the comments! 🌟A huge thanks to @believeinbuddha for hosting this chat!!🌟 Let's get chatting! 🍁mom.life_usa🍂

Yes. They wear masks and don't touch anything unless they absolutely have to. I carry hand sanitizer so they can sanitize their hands when we leave.

It depends. He has two appointments outside the house per week, so I try to limit taking him out only around those appointments times. Sometimes I have no choice in the matter and off we go. Thankfully, he’s a vigilant mask wearer and at school he wears a shield for his OT appointment as well as a mask.

I have taken my 4 year old, he’ll wear his mask. My 1 year old has only been to the store once since March, and it was an extenuating circumstance. I would prefer he stays home since he can’t wear a mask. But I mostly use Instacart, grocery pick up or have the kids stay home with my husband or nanny.

No I don't. I run errands on the weekend when my husband is home or after he gets home from work. Or I just have him stop for me and get whatever i need before he comes home. I actually rarely even go to the store myself. I do a ton of online shopping

When the pandemic first start no, but for a few months now they go with me and wear a mask, it’s too hard to wait around for my husband considering he works nights and has to sleep during the day.

I try to do my shopping while my kids are in school, but I do take them to stores. We go shopping at least once a month. We just wear masks and keep our distance.
Rose ·
But I would take my kids of I really needed to get some things and I would go really early when it's empty

That’s a good idea im gonna go tomorrow morning before it gets busy.

Same here, I've only taken my kids like 3 times these past few months
Heather·
Yes, my kids go with me. I wear a mask of course, my oldest wears one most of the time but my youngest won't. We just sanitize extra well and I wipe the buggy down really good..
Mimi·
I have no choice but to, I try to bring stroller instead of using shopping cart whenever possible. I’d just make sure they aren’t touching up a bunch of stuff and sanitize their hands before and after the store.
M.·
Yep, if I have to go to the store before my husband is home from work. However, my kids will all happily wear masks so that makes my much more comfortable about having to take them out and about.

I usually go out while my husband takes care of them but he’s been getting out a little late and i don’t like going out on my own once it dark. My kids will also wear their masks but it still makes me nervous. 😬

If I have to, yes.
And we wear masks.
