yeah that was ths first sign I had when I had covid.
For me it was a pretty quick loss of taste and smell. By the next day I couldn't taste or smell anything, and I mean anything. I couldn't smell bleach and I couldn't taste vinegar.
I knew when something was sweet or salty by the way those things reacted on my tongue but I couldn't taste anything. It's been 3 months since I had covid and my sense of smell and taste still aren't 100% back.
I’m freaking out I have really bad allergies so I’m wondering if it could jus be that. Hopefully I can get tested tomorrow if they are open on weekends 😭
from the people I’ve known that’s how they knew . I have bad allergies too but I have never lost taste or smell unless I was stuffy . Some people described their experience of Covid as allergy symptoms. Does anyone you live with having the same symptoms?
I’ve had allergies all my life and never lost sense of smell, i mean if I’m really congested sense of smell would be not as good but have never lost it. I’d def get tested for covid as that is a covid symptom.
I lost taste but still can smell some with allergies or a cold (not exactly sure what I have) I was tested for covid and it was negative. I'd go get tested to be on the safe side❤️
@watz, @mmgarcia81, @mimixtmn, @alishap1212, @lifewithlynnieandwill88, thanks I woke feeling ok jus a headache and still no taste or smell I have an appointment to get tested in a couple hours 🙏🙁

Can you taste?

Very very lightly like I can tell if something is sweet or spicy and I tried peanut butter and I could barely taste it.

Unfortunately that’s one of the first and very common symptoms of covid.
