What’s the best way to move a lot of clothes across from up north to down south without taking five suitcases on the airplane ???

I’ve had a few people I know who were moving to different states just fedex or ups themselves boxes of clothes. Is this just for a trip or permanent move?

I’m moving tomorrow, thankfully it’s only 3 hours away. Longest we’ve moved was 6 hours and I still was able to drive and transport our clothes.
I’d definitely call your airline and see if they have any services you can use. Most airports have carts you can load up with the luggage. Do you have a wearable carrier for your littlest? That might help contain her while you push a cart. And if the airline isn’t able to help, then I would consider shipping yourself the clothes. Might be a good idea to price check both options as well.

Just ask for a Skycap and they will help you with the process. You just tip them for their service. The service itself is free.

What airline? You can check their checked bag policy and just check the bags. Also, some airlines, Delta specifically has postal services. Check it out and look into the USPS, FedEx, etc...

@mamaof2soon The same thing. You go to the baggage claim and pull your luggage from the conveyer belt. Then you ask for a Skycap for help and they help get it to the car. Or you can save time and ask for one before you pull the luggage and you tell them which ones are yours and they grab it all for you. They have carts available also in case you want to do it all on your own.
Do you know someone down there? You could probably mail them ahead of time.
Where are you moving from to? Would you possibly be able to drive instead? You could also ship the items. Depending on the amount of stuff you could get a storage container threw pods and ship it, they give free quotes online.
