It's not cancelled but not recommended, we are decorating our house (as are most in our community) and the children are doing a Halloween trail, then home to enjoy a movie and snacks x
No, I might do a “find the sweets” around the house in her fancy dress instead! We’ll carve pumpkins and decorate the house a bit and bake Halloween biscuits as usual xx
I LOVE halloween. We only took the boys trick or treating for the 1st time last year & they loved it, but I've explained why we can't this year. I won't be giving sweets either (which we've always done since living here).
We carve pumpkins, make halloween biscuits & will be doing a sweet hunt in the dark with torches around the house instead. Still gonna dress up as well and make it a fun day/ evening.

But I'm actually hoping no one knocks on my door.. it's a rubbish time and I have to keep my family safe but I could ruin some kids haloween and I'd feel awful
(might get a bag of sweets and wear gloves just incase anyone knocks to save ruining there day) x

My wee boy isn’t going tricker treating I’ll make his Halloween fun in our home by dooking for apples and making pumpkins etc 😁😁

No,
I took Maya out the first time last year! I don’t give her sweets but she still enjoyed it
I let her have one hard boil lollipop and that was it
And then saved the chocolate
And chucked the rest of the hard boiled and lollipops away lol
I will be making sweat bags for kids
And will just be dropping them off at neighbours houses who I know and that have kids
Or perhaps I will stand out the gate and pass them to kids but I don’t want it to end up a brawl
It was crazy last year! Lots of kids and not enough houses doing sweets etc and some had even run out of them xx

But I’ll mainly just be staying indoors, doing a pumpkin
Give her a treat bag
Popcorn and watch Halloween related cartoons etc xx
