I need advice y'all.. so I have a friend (been about 15 years) and we both have kids. My daughter is 11 months and her kids are 1 and 6. Well whenever we talk she loves to bring up sex, noises, or talk about her vagina. I told her that I don't find it appropriate talking like that in front of the kids to show them respect. But she feels that she isn't changing how she is for a kid. It's better that she tells them. Her favorite line is that's how they got here. I just don't think any of the kids are ready to hear that. Then she believe that they don't know what she is talking about so. But I told her kids are growing up faster these day and I'm in the real world around other kids and see this first hand whereas she is just around her kids and dogs. Then her husband chimed in saying she was right but his opinion doesn't matter because he has to always agree with her. So please tell me if I'm in the wrong.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
