Yes definitely! Our district is awaiting approval right now. Their school sessions are only 2.5 hours and the class is split in half so it would be a small group. She’s already been going to the daycare at her school anyway, might as well let her into the classroom.

Yea I understand that. I feel like many children have a hard time learning at home, especially those who are struggling with wifi issues.

yeah it’s hard at home because I also have a 2 year old who doesn’t know the meaning of “be quiet,” wants to touch all the buttons on her computer, use her headphones, talk to her teacher, and talk continuously in general. That’s why I put her in daycare so she’s with other students and can focus. Plus they do other activities with her which she loves.

aw, I bet she’s having a good time being around others. I can’t wait for our schools to open up.

I understand. How is it going in distance learning for your children?

@amouryaya09, omg really? Sometimes here, our internet cuts off and my daughter gets kicked out in zoom.

yup! The internet is always randomly down or I’m not able to log in. 😐

@amouryaya09, I bet. It sucks because the teachers won’t go back onto what they teach the children.

My son is back to school as of the 18th, he has never been happier! I was alittle anxious about it and we will see how things continue to go. But I feel it was the best choice for him.

Yes I agree, we always can’t live in fear. And I’m happy that each and everyone in this app is considering taking their child back to school.

My children aren't old enough for school but Lynnie could have started Pre-K. Since I'm pregnant I really didn't want to chance getting Covid although we only have like 120 cases in our county of 99,000 lol it's really only affecting those with pre-existing conditions or the elderly but can cause complications in pregnancy.

Yea I would wait too, especially because of your pregnancy. It’s better safe than sorry

My kids will not be going back in person this school year. Virtual learning has been going quite well for them.

I’m happy for you and your kids that it’s been going well for them.

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
