@mamaof2soon well as a mom with a wide age range of children like the party I had yesterday my son is turning 8 I had another 8yr old there and an 12yr old there plus my daughter who is 10 her friend and her friends sisters one is 6 the other one is 2 and I also have a 2yr old I always make sure to make a separate bag for the smaller ones so that is not an issue

I have 5 fish and theyre way easier to maintain.. I also have a bearded dragon, a snake, dog, cat and were about to get two german shepards from a friend. Yall all tripping. 🙈 If she wants to use goldfish as a party favor she can and the parents can just as easily decline. 🙄 people buy goldfish as feeder fish daily... but nobody is throwing a bitch fit over that. Yall need to chill.. lol 😆

100% MISSED THE POINT! If you wanna buy 100000 damn goldfish, you go for it. DON'T go buy 100000 damn goldfish if your count is including fish for kids who's parents you have not spoken to about them wanting a freaking fish! LIVE ANIMALS are NOT a gift you give to someone else's kid without speaking to their parents, EVER. PERIOD!
I missed your original post but if you buying fish for a party favor like pp says it’s a bad idea. When I taught at a preschool I thought it would be cute to give each child a fish with a little tank and food. Bad idea. The kids were not ready for that kind of responsibility and most of the parents didn’t want them I ended up taking a few back home with me.

... you’re missing the point. The point was, fish as a PARTY FAVOR for CHILDREN isn’t a good idea. You are putting responsibility in parents for no reason other than you thinking it’s a cute idea.

My goldfish lived for 5 years. In the right environment they can live quite long
@mamaof2soon, IF they are taken care of PROPERLY they live for YEARS! THIS is why not just anyone should be given a fish with no preperation or research in regards to care BEFOREhand. I HOPE to sweet baby Jesus there are no animals in your care, if so I fear for them.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
