Kinda irritated with my boss. When i first started i told them i couldn't do weekends because i had another job. Fast forward they gave me a raise to work every other weekend there. I quit my other job with expectation I would work the week and every other weekend. My boss and i went over it multiple times before i put in my two week notice. Then a week after covid hit so I didnt work for two months. We are now open at 25% and going to 50% next week. I was expecting to have not all but a good amount of my hours back. Im going on my third day off and he hired two new girls that work the same position I do. Instead of giving me my hours back hes giving some of them to the new girls. They needed evening help because the night shift girls tend to call off or no show so i get that he hired new girls but why give them hours I not only need and am willing to work but was promised when i left my other job. I wouldn't have left if i knew this would happen. Hes giving me the weekends but im losing days during the week that I used to work and my shifts are only half the hours they used to be. 🙄 Sorry for the long rant. Im just kinda pissed off about it lol. Idk how they expect us to make it by when i get maybe 20 bucks in unemployment and im not working anywhere close to the hours i used to be. Even with my raise my paychecks are a bit lower then they were before i got it. If you made it this far thanks for reading my vent sesh 😭
