What's your car insurance and how much is it? (If you dont mind me asking)

My car insurance is 425 and I think its just ridiculous. My daughters dad told me not to tell them it's to high. Just ask about lowering it but leave out it's to high. I mean I don't lie so they WILL ask me why do I want to lower it and my reasoning and I will have to say it's to high. Does that affect weather or not they will see what they can do or what

You can’t just ask to lower it, you have to shop around and see what the charges are for different types of coverage. It depends what kind of car you have, how new it is, what your driving record looks like, and where you live. I have zero accidents or tickets so my rate is low.

We have progressive and we pay a total of $139 a month for full coverage on 2 vehicles. We both have good driving records and haven't had any accidents or speeding tickets in a very long time and we are both in our 40s

We have progressive. We pay $265 a month for our 3 vehicles. It’s about to go up $250 a month though.

Is the $425 per month or is that 3 or 6 month payment? There are a lot of factors that play into your rate. Your age, zip code, how many miles you drive per year, accidents on your record. Also you can have full coverage but if you remove some of the extra benefits or bring down the cost if like the covered amount if you damage property, the amount can decrease as well. I live in CA and drive like 15,000 miles per year and u pay $157 per month.

That’s extremely high. We don’t even pay that collectively for full coverage on 4 vehicles.

@anicole3285, Florida is a no fault state, so I don’t think it matters. 🤔 Yes, all things mentioned make your insurance higher. Your credit is also a factor.

AAA is about $140 a month for two cars full covereage, one is almost a brand new car too. Oh and I’m in CA. I pay separately for my motorcycle

@justkeepswimmingx3, the title holder of the vehicle should definitely be a “named insured” on the policy. That’s just who’s names appear on the front and on the insurance cards. But that doesn’t affect the cost. If he is a driver on the policy, you are paying higher because of the tickets. No way around it.

@justkeepswimmingx3, hmm...well the insurance does follow the vehicle. But if he is a licensed driver and not insured on any policy, he will be sorry later. Because he will have been an uninsured driver. That will cost more. An SR-22 costs more. Do what you like, but my advice is to NOT take him off insurance.

No. Just you saying it’s high has no effect. There are so many factors that go into car insurance. I think you mentioned you may be moving soon? Your zip code affects the cost as well as your credit score, the liability limits you choose and the car you have.

It couldn't hurt to ask if they could lower it or see if you qualify for a discount.

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? I broke down at my moms house today ... because of the debt we owe and Passover is coming and it’s a very expensive holiday ... it was just way too much .... my mom i guess told my brother that I’m suffering and he called me over and asked me why i didn’t just ask for help, and offered to help when i need it . And gave me basically 4K to help for the month and if i need more to ask ... now one thing about me , is that i will suffer silently and won’t ask for help.... I’ve always been that way. Deff thankful for my family atm. I will start to do eBay too . I have stuff i can sell... anything to help out alittle help my husband ... whatever i can do.
