Anyone have any good remedies for acid reflux? Other than milk. My man has the WORST acid reflux and he normally drinks milk but its just not cutting it anymore. He told me to ask you guys and make sure to tell yall hes dying 😂😅

Gargle with salt , lay elevated , chew on a Tum or 2, as I’ve gotten older I can’t eat ketchup before going to sleep or drink fruit punch or spaghetti sauce before bed, and I don’t lay straight down after I eat”sometimes can come from stress too like your throat feels like it’s closing & I lay down to sleep always with lots of pillows

He eats terribly and thats part of the issue. He just loves his hot sauce🙄😅 tums dont do anything for him at this point. But ill tell him to try elevating himself when he sleeps tonight!

I have it really bad since I had my last baby he needs to go see his Dr if it’s consistent because it could cause worst problems. Tell him eat oatmeal or a banana.

Apple cider vinegar.
I know it sounds strange but most of the people who have acid reflux actually don't have enough stomach acid.
For the other small amount of people who actually do have an over abundance of stomach acid, taking some baking soda usually works.

I second this idea of ACV. Make sure the mother is still in the bottle. It works well unless you have a hiatal hernia. That’s how I knew I had a hernia to be honest. ACV stopped working so I went to Prilosec but I was taking too much. My surgery was to deal with my acid actually.
