The school just sent out a letter that says the siblings of any student who have tested positive and are being quarantined are not being quarantined by the schools unless they have gotten a statement from the health department stating otherwise.
So to me this means if 1 child out of 4 in a household is tested positive the other kids still have to attend school. How does that work?? Wouldn’t they have been in close contact? The school labeled it as secondary contact and said it’s not a close contact. This is almost too much

This is why I’m having to telework this week. My sitters kids started school last week. They went one day. Just one and kids with parents/siblings with positive COVID still went to school. My sitters kids have now been exposed so I’m not taking her until at least next week. I’ve been working from home since last Wednesday.
What in the hell?!? That makes no sense at all.
So stupid!
That makes zero since, especially because a lot of times kids don’t have symptoms, but can still spread it.
Here, if a child is around anyone that tests positive, they have to quarantine for two weeks. If a child has a sibling or parent that is in quarantine from being exposed, that child can still attend school unless they or the person in quarantine starts showing symptoms.
Our school is saying the same thing.. it boggles my mind
It makes absolutely no sense!
