My almost 4 year old has been sleeping without a diaper at night but wakes up every morning all wet. Does that mean he's not ready yet? He stays without a diaper through the whole day and does fine but had a habbit of pooping on his diaper while he slept at night-time, so thats why we've been doing no diapers at night. He still hasn't learned to poop in the toilet. Any tips? Should I keep him without daipers at night even though he pees?

Night time dryness is hormonal. You can’t train it. The kidneys release a hormone to stop producing as much urine during the night sometime before 10-12 years old typically. You can help my reducing water intake before bed and having them use the bathroom right before tucking in, but it’s not learnable

It's perfectly normal for kids to wet the bed until age 8.

You can't really "train" for night time. It all depends on when their bladder matures which happens at different ages for each kid.

My daughter bed wet until she was 5. She had her first accident a month ago for the first time in a year and she's now 8.

I'm struggling getting my 4 year old to poop in the potty as well....🤦🏼‍♀️. So you're not alone. I try sitting her on the potty 30 minutes after she eats (what her pediatrician suggested) but she'll hold it...

Limit drinks before bedtime and to stop the overnight bedwetting you may have to wake him to use the potty and go back to sleep. Children sleep so deeply and their brain doesn't always wake them up when they have to go. I kept my daughter in pull ups at night until she stopped wetting them because she is the kid that stays awake if she wakes up. I couldn't wake her to use the bathroom and get her back to sleep. It's a process and you're doing really well.

So...here's a subject we haven't explored... What does your SO think about having a new baby in the home? How's he handling things? Is he getting much sleep? Does he wear earplugs at night like my hubby does? Does he sleep on the couch or in another room? Like to change diapers...

My boyfriend hasn’t changed ONE diaper ever and my son is 9 months old. He hasn’t fed him in about 5 months, he doesn’t bath him and hes never been left alone with him and he doesn’t even wake up during the night to help with him. He MAYBE washes the bottles at night if it’s a good day and I’m confused as to how bc I’m a woman IM supposed to do all that by myself?? lmfao ya no.

Mommas I need advice. Kynton gets a super bad rash when he poops. From one poop and maybe 45 seconds of him being in that diaper turns his butt bright red and blisters. We only use Huggies and Pampers diapers. Could it be disposables that do this? The gel stuff mixing with his poop that creates the rash?? And should I try a few cloths to see if it helps? Or what do I do. He poops at least 2 times if not sometimes more a day. And it puts him in agonising pain. His Drs said don't worry but his Booty is always red, bleeding and hurts him.
