My Dr. Prescribed me unisom and Vitamin B6. Ive taken both religiously with alarms and everything, and neither of them does anything for this nausea. It gets worse when i havent eaten in a couple hours, when im around meat products, and when things are baking at work. Otherwise im just constantly kind of queasy instead of making sure theres a trashcan or bathroom nearby. Anyone know anything else that may help? Ive tried ginger tea, peppermint tea, preggie pops, anti-nausea bands, and the two meds ive been prescribed. Ive also tried keeping mints in my mouth, drinking more water especially with Lemon, and eating smaller meals and snack in between. But if i go more than one hour before eating im back to gagging over every tiny little smell. I was hoping it would go away by now, its been like this since i was 4 weeks and its not slowed down any. I dont have another appointment until the 15th with my OB and ill talk to her again but i really cant keep eating like this. Ive not gained a single pound yet though so im not sure whats up with that.

I say listen to your body and if you have to constantly snack, just do that. Make healthy choices but I wouldn't worry about gaining or losing right now. I hope this phase ends soon for you and you can enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

I agree with jolly ranchers. Something about the sour helped. Diclegis didn’t work with my son but did partially with my daughter however that is basically what you’re taking with the unisom and b6. I hate to say this, but you might just have to keep snacking and hope for the best. Nothing worked with my son. I dropped down to 84 lbs and it was rough. I got slightly better around 17 weeks. I’m hoping you aren’t sick for that much longer. Just remember how worth it it’ll be in the end. 💕💕 sending you positive thoughts.

I walked around with a bag of oyster crackers during both pregnancies. Just a few at a time made a difference

@caitydid same! They gave me diclegis and it helped but my insurance wouldnt cover it so i had to find something else. Jolly ranchers were the only thing that made a difference.

I dont smoke, never have. Im not sure i can have Zofran, i have heart palpitations often, and its show to cause irregularities on heartbeat in some cases so id have to ask my cardiologist about that one for sure.
