When i was 27w3d contractions was coming and going they said i was 2cm dilated now today im 30w4d and this doctor saying im not dilated im not understanding my contractions coming back to back im getting steriods now and have to come back tomorrow for another steriod shot

@lashae93, magnesium calm helps calms the uterus from contracting. I know several women that has used it throughout there pregnancy . Most midwives recommend it.

I don’t have any experience with exactly what you are talking about but it is completely normal to dilate and the close back up. It’s also normal to lose your mucus plug more than one time. It will regenerate.
Contraction questions I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.
So as you guys know, I got sent home last night still contracting every 3-5 minutes because I wasn't dilating more, it's now 6:30 and I have still been contracting like that all day.. so I called.. and they said I needed to come back in but if I'm not dilated more they are just goin to send me straight back home.. I'm really frustrated! my hospitals close to an hour away.. that's alot of gas money for no reason :,(
UPDATE: Well i wemt back to doctor still at 5cm was sent back home my doctor said i havent dilated anymore so she said thats a good thing and she said she wanna induce me but she didnt because im 36 weeks so im dealing with pain until i hit 40 weeks witch i really hate but she also said if baby comes shes not gonna stop it so im just playing the waiting game while having contractions and still scard ima go in labor at home!!!!
Ugh theses contractions come & go... Right now im having strong ones again in my back😩 #FeelingWorriedandpained
