So my 7 year old doesn’t want to help clean she wants to sit on the couch and watch tv. So I told her she can watch tv as she folds all the laundry I’m washing today. This girl looked at me and said, “ You need to help me I’m the kid you’re the mom that’s your job.” 🙃 well I also pay for the WiFi and the Netflix you watch sooooo 🤷🏾‍♀️. Girl has lost her mind if she thinks she’s sitting on the couch all day watching tv while I clean and do everything. Nay nay I say.

Imagine a 6 & 4 year old who are always complaining that they have to do everything 🙄🙄🙄 Which they don’t. I just ask for them not to leave trash on the table or if they dropped food to clean it up & not leave their dirty clothes in the bathroom.

No tv and she’s folding clothes, has to wash dishes, no WiFi, and when she’s done she has to read the rest of the day. Thinking about making her help with dinner tonight too. Oh and she gets to clean the baseboards too lol.

I would laugh as I turn off the TV and show her the list of chores she's about to do if she wanted to relax later. Everyone here knows they will contribute and help because we are a family it is not just a mom job 🙄. Keep doing it everyday with her after you tell her your role isn't made at home.

Oh tv went off quick. She’s currently folding all the clothes I’ve washed today and I’m going to do a extra 2 loads now. And after she gets to wash the after lunch dishes.

Yeah imagine my 6 year old told me the other day shes my maid😳 she regretted that 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ and mind you i NEVER ASK her to help me just a little so yeah they think wifi, her phone, the robux she asks for every other day and much more 😂 they think its free 🤦🏻‍♀️

Sit on your butt!” within a min I caught her stand up on the coffee table and leap to the couch! She’s never stood on the coffee table before, but it’s like - dude, I JUST told you to not jump on the couch and you think this is okay?! She’s lost tv privileges. She’s lost play time outside / cut down playtime. I took away her tablet for the day yesterday, but I’m at the end of ideas. I refuse to hit/spank so that won’t work. Helpppppp

So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
