Yep...some years are worse than others. 2018 was bad

I got stuck on 80 going towards Berkeley right before they closed. The Hennessy Fire had jumped the freeway to the middle brush. Thankfully I got through before they closed it for 3 hours and made it to cleaner air by the water.
