Anyone had a allergic reaction to condoms before?? What is a good remedy 😭😭😪🥴

Try different brands and materials. They make many outta diff ish now not just latex. Orrrrr celibacy 🤷🏾‍♀️ Lol

Most condoms are latex. There are lamb skin condoms, Trojan carries some, and they’re supposed to be for people who have reactions to latex condoms.

It’s also possible to have a reaction to any lubricants, flavors or “warming” gels on the condoms. You can buy regular condoms and a water-based lube if you don’t have a latex sensitivity that you’re aware of.

If you can avoid condoms altogether, iuds are great alternatives. There’s nonhormonal ones as well.

If you’re currently having an allergic reaction, take a shower, wash with a non scented or very lightly scented soap and take a Benadryl or allergy med of your choice. Also can sit on an ice pack. If you’re still having a reaction after a day, call your medical provider or go to an urgent/immediate care.
