My son has been refusing formula for about a week now I’m lucky if he gets a few oz in. His pedi told me to mix the formula with the whole milk and see if he takes it and so far he’s drinking it and seems he’s tolerating it well. However, has anyone had this issue with their baby? I feel like it’s still so early and I wanna try other things before starting him on whole milk so soon completely. I am surprised this was her suggestion he just turned 7 months on the 7th.

Better to get some nourishment in him than nothing at all and he should be starting solids( or will be soon) so his milk intake will be less and he'll start getting his nutrients from food. As long as he is still gaining weight he should be ok, but if you see any changes in his alertness, or abilities, irritation then you need to get on your ped for help!
