Question has anyone took there toddler to the dentist for the first time and they were 😱 scared and crying and didn’t want to open there mouth for the dentist what are some tips to help prepare my daughter for her next visit in 6 months

This was my daughter...for 4 years straight. She was so bad that they didn't schedule other patients during her appointments. I started to prep her WEEKS before she would go by reminding her it was coming up. We read stories, showed videos, and I even got a little play set....she's kind of better at it now. Btw we have a pediatric dentist which in my opinion makes a BIG difference in the experience

Yes my toddlers first appt was a disaster 🤦🏾♀️ now that she’s watched cartoons about going to the dentist she’s fine lol
Maybe videos about dentist appointments with her favorite characters. My daughter saw a curious George episode and has been asking to go. She’s even been brushing like 3 time as a day 😂😂
I hate when people can’t control their kids. Went to the dentist the kids just climbing all over stuff, bothering people and messing with this women’s hair. Raising my son to be respectful and not be a pest to people because it takes the right person to say something to the kid and here the parents go getting mad.
my one year old tried to kiss this girl in the dentist office today 😂😂 I had to stop him.. Bad news I have to have surgery 4 wisdom teeth has to be removed, and I may have to get braces cause my wisdom teeth is coming in crooket 😖😫😭😒😷😳

Ya'll I have a primary and a secondary insurance and I still can't afford to get my teeth fixed... I have one that chipped in the back, no big deal really, but it's $450 to get a crown on it. Then ive had bad bleeding gums in one spot with bad taste ive told the dentist over and over about for a year and a half... he looks at my xray from a year ago ad says oh your root is gone on two teeth you'll have to see an endodontist. I don't even wanna know how much that is.
