When do you think the right time is too have your second baba? Best age gaps? Tia🙂🙂
Best age gap for me is when I had my 3rd baby, my daughter was 2y8months. She was fully potty trained by then, excellent speech and was independent for example getting dressed on her own.
Any less of an age gap than that was really hard. My eldest two were 11 months apart and it was really hard. Like having twins.
When I had my 4th my 3rd was only 18 months. That was really hard too. Lots of jealousy and my 3rd wasn't able to communicate yet.
So if you feel ready then why not?
Its good to not have too much of an age gap so they can be close and play together xx
2y 9m age gap here, i wouldn’t change it at all! Initially I wanted a smaller gap but it’s great! My eldest was fully potty trained day and night, she could was more independent, feed herself and get dressed by herself which makes life a lot easier with a newborn! Plus she always wanted to help! We still definitely had jealousy issues but they adore each other now! Whenever one is upset they immediately go to each other and cuddle, they are playing together more as baby gets older which is adorable. Only problem is I already know they’re going team up against me!! 🤣 wouldn’t change a thing! Their bond is amazing!💖💖
My little one was 2 in may and I’m getting my implant removed this month. He’s more independent now so feel like it’s the right time! x
Mines 2yr 1month and tbh adjusting was really easy, it's tiring now they're both up and about, both ridiculously noisy lol and Maci doesn't really like sharing toys.. BUT watching them together and knowing they will always have each other is lovely. My sister also had kids around the same times, so between us we have 4 under 4, they argue like siblings, but knowing they'll always have friendship between them is amazing xx
I had mine 2 years apart and honestly the bond they have is so strong!!! They do everything together! Got each others backs but they constantly fight and argue over toys
Whenever you feel ready for another just go for it xx
We wanted the gap to be about 2 years and I’m having my second in a week 😅 it’s been tough being pregnant looking after a toddler (physically) but now it’s almost over I’m excited to see them together and I echo the above that I feel more confident his time round because I’ve done it all before 😊 x
@sarahjane__, ahh brilliant 😀 so nice to know there’s moms on here near by! xx
@sarahjane__, well I’m on the outskirts now I’ll in Codsall 😊

I bet you wouldn’t change anything though would you?
Yeah that’s the main thing they’ll be closer with a small age gap. My parter has brothers they’re 30, 28 and he’s 27 and they’re all close nit. I think that’s another reason why my oh would like another as he’s used to it from a child where as I was a lonely child till I was 10 xxx
@nicolemariehooperxo no way would never change a thing! I love having them close in age. My mum birthed 12 of us and we all have a 1 -2 year age gap between us all! We are so very close and there was never a dull moment growing up. Between me and my brother is a 1 year age gap and we are so close. He was very protective of me in school which was so cute! Haha xx
I don't know about age gaps because mine r so close but I can honestly say having my second has been the best thing seeing them both together! it's hard at first getting into a routine and there definitely isn't a right time for anyone bu you'll know yourself if u are ready for it also remember you've done it all before it's no where near like your first it's much more chilled I was a nervous wreck after my first...
I say go for it n have fun 😘 xxx
@nicolemariehooperxo aw I get what you mean but he's not he has his mummy and daddy but yeah nursery would be good for him because he's mixing with other children around the same age as him but a brother or sister would be the greatest gift you could ever give him it's a friend for life but yeah it is hard work but it's not because you know what your doing alot more and it's also double rewarding. Do you have good support of your partner? Haha awe bless I definitely say baby! Never know until you try 😂😘 xxx
@nicolemariehooperxo it's honestly not as bad as you can imagine it's just a lot more time consuming but then you get into a routine and the newborn starts to adjust to the routine that was already there. Xxx
@tam96, well yeah exactly a brother or sister would be for life which is obviously different to nursery friends, I just worry about Noah and giving a newborn my full attention as such (not that they do a lot at a young age) yeah my partner is really good tbf, he was so good when Noah was younger, we did shift sleeping which I’m not sure if that would be an option with a toddler aswell but Noah sleeps pretty well now so I guess it would just be taking it in turns with the new baba. Well yeah, was your second planned? Xxx
