Do you ladies attend small gatherings? I have not and do not feel safe to do so. We’ve pretty much have only stayed home since March . My 7 year old hasn’t even went shopping with me . My sil wants to have a get together/swimming at my mil house for my nephew’s birthday. Total people would be around 10 people . I wish I could go but know it’s safer . They think I’m crazy 😝
I try to avoid gatherings where there will be a lot of people. But we have mostly gone back to our normal events. Back to family game night. But we also all live in a county that has only had 275 or so cases.
@mmgarcia81 that's rough. Yea we have a small county. 27000 tested and only 200 almost 300 positive. Only 6 are currently positive active cases. 4 deaths. I didnt check today's numbers so they could be off a bit. My neighboring county is 3300 and some change.
I don't even know how. Most of us in this county didnt change anything when the virus hit. We went on with life as normal. No masks, no social distance. We are pretty spaced out to begin with, we don't get many outside travelers (we don't have any tourist attractions), we have a large amish population. I just stopped sharing drinks with other family members. Washed my hands more and disinfected surfaces more. I have always covered my mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. And my family both extended and immediate stay away from each other when sick.
But most of the rest of the county didnt change anything really.

Just family and it’s never been more than 10 of us. I don’t take my kids inside of stores though but other than that we are back to normal with some precautions. My kids are even back to daycare(strict rules and precautions though)
We have seen my parents, and I see my neighbors pretty much everyday since our kids play together. We have taken precautions and have all been very healthy. We can’t live our lives inside and never go out! It’s not healthy for anyone.
I went to see my sister cause it was her birthday. But we was outside 100% of the time in the yard an I was wearing a mask.
I live in Southern California but I go out all the time and yes we visit family every week. I see my sister, her kids, my brother and his daughter, my husband’s aunt who watches my kids 2 days a week, my mom, my dad, my neighbor across the street and her 4 year old grandson. I go grocery shopping every week and I go to a boot camp workout 4-5 days a week. We’ve been to parks and hiking trails. My sister had a birthday party for her 2 kids both born on the same day but 5 years apart. We kept it small and outdoors only. Everyone was very cautious. No one got sick.
Salons, gyms and restaurants are closed for inside dining and we have to wear masks everywhere. Traffic shows it’s business as usual around here. We stayed home for 4 months, we can’t live like that forever.
I’ve been to like 2 gatherings but we all wore our masks around eachother and I went on four airplanes with a ton of people .. I see it as this virus is never going to end anytime soon so people need to continue their lives like they normally would except with a mask on 🤷🏻♀️ unless u wanna stay trapped in ur house for a year or so!
I feel safer now that masks are mandatory here because nobody was wearing them before. The governor wasn’t having them mandated and left it up to the mayors . They won’t be wearing a mask at the gathering and I don’t know how many other people they are around without mask .

Hell no my family can facetime me lol I'm in California so we stay home for the safety of us and others.
we have gone to the cabin but there's plenty of space to maintain a safe distance we are going again this weekend its about 12 ppl all family i feel comfortable i work and am in the community a lot!!!! my lo is in daycare and so far we have managed to stay safe with proper precautions
Well my family think the same. I only go to my doctor appointment back home. I don't leave for nothing. My better have dose the shopping and other errands. I don't feel safe other around small group. I never like being around lager group of people even before this started. So no you are not crazy. You are protecting your family like you should be. And about to give birth soon dose help. I never been so scared and my life. Not even for me. It more for my kids. Especially with a new born.
What do you consider small? I hang out with my cousin and her son several times a week. It’s always a gathering with 7 people in my house 🤷🏼♀️😂
@mmgarcia81, this is exactly how I feel ! And this why I stay home bc I know where we have been home so we are fine but I don’t trust anyone else no idea where they have been
@mmgarcia81, it’s not crazy!!! I know where my cousin has been. She’s my sons boss 😂. My dad came over on Sunday. He stayed in his car. We all wore masks. Nobody touched. He works at a court house and isn’t careful!!!!! If I didn’t know people who’d be there and where they had been. I wouldn’t go.

Nope. Even for my daughters birthday my in laws left presents at the door and then stood like 15 feet away by the street with signs when we came outside.

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
Locking your doors We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
So My coworker does not get vaccinated for anything due to religious practices and she’s worried about our job making it mandatory since they discussed it earlier this week. It’s crazy how when vaccines even started or came about we were told it would be voluntary but now it’s mandatory and people need a verification card to go certain places. We even have certain states doing lottery drawings just to make people get it. people shouldn’t fear losing their jobs or having to go against their religious beliefs when we were told it was voluntary. I think this is wrong that companies are doing this.
