My hubby found a lump in his armpit its like the size of a gumball on the inside. Any idea what it could be or have any of your husbands had this? He will be going to the doctor but we’re really worried 😟

Most likely it’s nothing to worry about and not the “c” word. I’ll say a prayer for you guys. It could be a cyst or lipoma.

Yeah that’s what I’m telling my husband. He’s just worried because all he thinks about are our two little ones and the one in the way.

It could be anything as far as lymphoma cancer .. I’d jst have him get checked .. my dad has lymphoma cancer and he didn’t know until he started getting lumps like that in his armpit Nd other places as well

@ethanandkayleensmommy, I get them all the time sweating and deodorants can cause it or even a common cold or allergies. My husband got his first one and flipped out too but it finally surfaced and he was able to drain it. Some of them can be too deep to drain though and takes a lot of time too go away or surface . Feels like a marble in their

It's best to just get it checked out because it could be nothing at all, a swollen lymph node, or even breast cancer. No point worrying until a doctor says to. Hope it turns out ok.
@ethanandkayleensmommy The unknown is harder than the known to handle. Have him use a warm compress and take a Benedryl before bed. No deodorant for a few days. If it is just a lymph node swollen due to allergies this can help. Don't play with it or squeeze it. That will make it worse even if it is nothing. Big hugs and prayers. Please let me know how things go. It's probably nothing but getting it checked is the right thing to do. You can call the Dr office daily to see if he can get a cancellation spot.

@ethanandkayleensmommy You're welcome! Remember lymph nodes are located in several places on our bodies and get swollen at times when our immune system is doing its job, so most times it's nothing. No amount of worry will help you. Easy as it is to say, not do, stay as calm as possible and take the day for the blessing it is. Hugs mama!

Yes it def sounds like a swollen lymph node. What the ladies have suggested is best. Try to stay calm until his appt. do not mess with it at all. No squeezing or manipulating of the area. My son had an ear infection years ago and got a swollen lymph nose on his neck and I didn’t notice it will like a few days later so I took him back to the pedi and she said it was because of the ear infection well it’s never gone away. It’s been like this for years now and she said not to worry about it. Good luck and keep us all posted. Also my dh had one Around his nipple area and had a mammogram and it turned out to be nothing!
