Does anybody have a good behaviour/reward/punishment system for their 2.5 year old? Mine has become so defiant, I went and bought a "toy jail" box. He gets a warning, a countdown from 5 and then loses a toy and if he carries on he continues to lose toys. He isn't so fussed yet but I've realised this is quite one sided in terms of negative/punishment so wondering what I could do to balance with positives/rewards (that aren't food or new toys)
I've just bought some stickers and said "well done here's a sticker! Good boy!!" And this is what I got back.... "umm no thanks" 🤦♀️ 😂 I'll keep trying
You got to love kids! 😂 The things they come out with sometimes is brilliant xx
A sticker on the tshirt as soon as they have done something good or behaved well works wonders because it's an immediate reward. I also do a sticker chart for my eldest and she works her way up to a treat at the end of the week. She gets to choose (something within reason) xx
Lots of praise when he’s been good or done as he’s asked- definitely stickers for doing the simplest of things then and lots of “thank you”s and “proud of you”s. Try to ignore bad behaviour as much as possible
We do naughty step but count to 3 first as a warning, I always use sweets as a reward for good behaviour I know I shouldnt really because some times she ends up having a lot over a few days, my little one loves sticker so maybe sticker as a treat
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Time outs are a better way for a young child. So have a naughty step or spot in the house and have them sit for how long there age is so 2 minutes for a 2 year old. And keep putting them back without talking when they get uo and leave
