Need some advice. My boyfriends daughter is saying her stomach is upset today and that she’s throwing up. She tends to eat really fast which leads to overeating so I’ve been working with her on that but she says it feels like she’s actually sick. Anyway I’ve had her laying down and she wants to run around and play with the others but I keep telling her to lay down if she’s sick. She went to the restroom and was throwing up and I peeked in to check on her and her hands were in her mouth like she was gagging herself to throw up. I’m not sure how to go about this. Now she’s saying she wants Mac and cheese and I said I’ll make toast because of her stomach and she now feels better. I don’t want to think she’s faking but it seems like it 😞

Yeah I know that can help. It’s a good point I didn’t think about. She is feeling better too I guess so we shall see.
Tell her dad right away. Go to the doctor. Does she have an eating disorder or maybe she might have one and you don't know. That can be serious

I used to do this when I was little. When I was sick and couldn't vomit without stimulating it. It would make my tummy feel better for a bit and I could rest. My mom says I still wanted to play but would by wiped out. I also would ask for odd things but it was literally all that sounded good at the time.

How old is she? I used to do around about the same things and it didn't make sense to me my belly would hurt like hell I'd puke and be fine for a while...i went to doc after doc that said i was fine as I got older it came in spells then 10 years ago I had a bad spell and couldn't eat for 5 days ended up in the hospital they said it was ibs and gurds now im 26 and and looking back i was having flare-up caused by the combo of gurds ibs and gastroparesis.

Honestly, I would be straight forward with her and tell her what you saw and ask why she was doing that exactly and see if her explanation makes any sense and then go from there.
So I asked her if she was making herself throw up and she said no. I said I saw her gagging herself with her hand and she is still staying she didn’t do it. 😔
@itsfeeeneyyyyy yeah. She probably won't admit it now, since you went straight for assuming the worse, she might feel afraid to open up now. I personally would have said I seen you putting your fingers down your throat, is something wrong? Are you okay? Is there anything you wanna talk about? Kind of manner. Kids tend to close up when they feel they will get in trouble. I would continue to keep a close eye on her, maybe accompany her to the bathroom every time she goes to throw up. If she is forcing herself too, shes not gonna throw up naturally.
@the_rural_queen, I get what you mean. The question I asked was “I saw you with your hand in your mouth are you trying to make yourself throw up? Are you having some bad feelings?” And she said no I’m ok just sick to my stomach. So I replied hun I saw you with your hand in your mouth and I just want to make sure you’re alright because that’s not good to do. She said said no I’m fine just sick to my stomach. I told her she won’t be in trouble or anything and she’s been great for me otherwise. I hope she feels comfortable opening up to me eventually though. I feel bad.

Not that I know of. Her dad is at work but I’ve been keeping him updated so he’s aware.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Why Are Many Women Unaware of Their Own Anatomy?
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
I used to do this when I felt sick to my stomach. I would do it till I threw up and I would feel much better! I actually had to do it a couple times while pregnant with my son.
