I'm not worried about his speech enough to see a therapist. He's still learning and growing normally. But theres still so much I don't know what he says. At this point I long for the days I can understand him better.

If you're at all worried, he's at an age where it would make sense to just get him evaluated. There may not be a need to, but if you have any concerns at all, it could take away your concern
