We're waiting a little longer to decide but we're heavily leaning towards remote learning. Our school will be instructing lessons live which I'm happy about. Just super bummed about the social aspect since my kiddo is an only child

They decide here on the 24th for our district other district here they’re doing both

Our district plan was either full in person or full remote but people were complaining that they wanted a hybrid option. Now there’s a second meeting on Thursday to decide what the heck is going to happen. Regardless, we will be making a decision by trimester, the first one being fully remote.

my son is going into 3rd grade. Hes in a dual language class. Not sure how it will go down. I feel bad and almost want to send him but man this covid is still high up, nobody is cooperating all the time, and social distancing amongst children will never be a thing lol unless teachers are on top of them but who knows. Teachers lose their patience too.

Since the beginning of the pandemic we’ve been telling people to stay put so we could beat this before schools start. Most people adhere but those few that didn’t ruined for the rest of us. I don’t think schools can safely open just yet but some kids can only benefit from learning at school. No one wins!

My high schooler is doing remote through the school so he doesn’t lose his spot at his school. My other kids we are pulling from the district and doing WA connections academy most likely.

Count yourselves lucky that you have been informed of your school’s plans. We haven’t heard a darn thing here. Sucks when we’re only a month away from school starting.
