Anyone have anything that helped them with severe cracked nipples ? I’ve been using lanolin . I troed coconut oil. I know my sons latch isn’t correct . I’ve tried every position . Everything and I cang get him to get a deep latch. But I’m in so much pain. Please help

I broke down at my moms house today ... because of the debt we owe and Passover is coming and it’s a very expensive holiday ... it was just way too much .... my mom i guess told my brother that I’m suffering and he called me over and asked me why i didn’t just ask for help, and offered to help when i need it . And gave me basically 4K to help for the month and if i need more to ask ... now one thing about me , is that i will suffer silently and won’t ask for help.... I’ve always been that way. Deff thankful for my family atm. I will start to do eBay too . I have stuff i can sell... anything to help out alittle help my husband ... whatever i can do.

I've used palmer's cocoa butter nursing cream, or nursing butter, can't remember exactly what it's called. It worked so good for me

Coconut oil was the only thing that helped my nips. Also heard soaking them in salt water helps them heal faster.
Have you had him checked for ties or anything that would prevent him from taking a deep latch?

your welcome it helps with the pain and the healing a lactation consultant recommended it to me over 13 years ago when I had my first and I’ve successfully breastfed all 4 of my babies and used it everytime! Even when baby is latched correctly your nipples will still hurt until they heal hang in there!

Our local hospital has lactation consultants. You should see if you have that at your hospital. They will watch and help!

I’ve met with her a few times and called her a hand full of times back and forth and she hasn’t been much help. Just keeps telling me the same things and it’s not working for my situation
