It would depend on how hungry I am, how good the food is, and stuff like that. I wouldn't have a "strategy" about it. Probably wouldn't go out to dinner as a first, second or third date either.

No shame in my game I'll eat if I'm hungry enough....but I will say that I hardly ever clear my plate at restaurants since portions are so big at most places

My husband laughs to this day about the fact that not only did I clear a plate from the beginning but the first time we actually hung out I farted like a man. He said it was then he knew I was a keeper. Lol. I say completely be yourself from day one. That's the reason so many relationships fall apart with her excise being "he/she/changed". No, they probably didn't change, they just never showed who they sincerely were out of wanting to impress you. Most people put their best foot forward in the beginning and that may be a small part of the authentic self but eventually the full self comes out and one can't always put the best foot forward. So better to show your flaws from day one.

I destroyeedddddd my plate when my husband and I first ever went out to dinner. He was the one who had anxiety about eating in front of me. I knew it cause I use to be like that. So I grabbed his desert and ate that shit to 😂 just to show him he didn’t have to feel uncomfortable about it. That night he started farting in front of me and ate a whole ass meal at 11pm. He said I was gonna be his wife from the second I took his desert. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

I guess that's why I've only ever had first dates 😂🤷🏿‍♀️ I will eat it if I'm hungry, and sometimes these restaurants have small portions, smh, I'm eating until I'm full. The meme should have said to eat before you go on the date. What's the point of leaving dinner hungry?

Nope I destroy my plates. My ex was judgemental and ordered for me, told me I couldn't eat certain things. My husband and I our first date was a place that was like 5 cent wing night. I must have ate 50 or so wings. He was impressed.
