Any tips/things that worked for other parents on how to teach kids to cover their mouth when they cough besides them watching you do it? If I cover his mouth he just gets mad.

My son is this way he likes to know why we are asking that and since he was 2ish he coughs and sneezes in his shirts and he doesnt touch his face when out in public
I do cough and sneeze into your shirt it seems so much easier for him to pick up when he was little
So update on the blister in Eliana’s mouth it was the start of thrush she woke up this morning and her lips are covered in it... definitely making an appointment first thing tomorrow morning 😕

Has anyone here actually used those little fabric shopping cart seat covers, or am I just a paranoid germaphobe? 😂 My husband thinks I’m crazy for ordering one, but I dont want him putting his mouth all over those filthy things!
Am I the only one who have to have their feet hanging from under the covers? I cannot have my feet under the covers!
My sons a bit older but he loves when I explain things to him instead of just telling him don’t do that. Not saying you don’t but I’ve been doing this since he was 2 and he knows what not to touch that could possibly hurt him and doesn’t get into any adult things he’s always been that way. I told him we have to cough into our hand so we don’t get anyone sick.
