Question: I'm having a chemical pregnancy. I got a very faint positive on 8dpo. Yesterday's was lighter and today I could barely see it. My question is, how long will the nausea and high temps take to come down? I mean I was so early and the only reason I tested was because of the high temps and nausea. This morning, I did a workout and was burning up. Plus I felt dizzy and super nauseous. Being so early, these symptoms shouldn't even be as heavy as they are, right?

Are you using the same brand tests every time ? What brand test are you using ? If you're having a chemical pregnancy, then your period should come at the same time as usual.

Your temps should come down a day before your period, or the day of, maybe a day later. Everyone is different.

Progesterone is what makes your temp rise. It's also why you're feeling nausea due to the rise of this particular hormone. If you're having a chemical pregnancy, then progesterone will no longer be produced and on the rise, estrogen will take over, your temps will lower and you'll no longer feel nausea. Unless you're one of the women that experience nausea before starting AF. Sorry about your chemical pregnancy. And I wish you luck on TTC in the future.

Thanks for the replies. They were the same brand tests. I don't usually experience nausea before my period. All I can do is wait. I have a 16 day luteal phase, so I am not due for my period for several days.

You're welcome. Alot of things can affect the intensity of the lines this early on.. such as not a long enough hold with urine, fluid intake, etc. I would just wait a few days and test again !

You may not be experiencing a chemical. You could very well still be pregnant. Fingers are crossed for you hun ! Can i see your tests ?

Pregnancy hormones double every 48 hours. Could be false positive. Wait until you are late
