I had a sweep yesterday morning at 10:30 and my mucus plug came out about 2 hours ago will my waters…

Hi your waters might go in the early stages of labour but mine dint go till I was 7cm so everyone's different, you plug will Carrie on come away the rest of the day and you will probably go into labour tonight or tomorro but everyone's different so might be a few days, all you need to do now I make sure you have everything ready for the hospital and get plenty of rest your going to need it xx

It’s different for everyone. With my first my waters went before any contractions and with my 4th my water went as he was born

First pregnancy I lost my plug from around 37 weeks (born at 39+2) then had my show while contracting, my waters went at 8/9cms, baby arrived 30ish minutes later (had a lot of Gas and air so it may have been a bit longer/shorter. Second pregnancy lost my plug while contracting again I didn't loose any plug before this, waters went while I was pushing. Both short labours, 4 hours and 1 hour 45 minutes. Everyone is different. Some people loose their plug a few days before going into labour. The plug having some red in it is a good sign that labour is near :) I'd just make sure you're ready :) xx

I had my sweep the day before and I started contracting around 10am the next day and my waters didn't go until I was 8cm and once they went I went straight to 10cm and my daughter was born. Good luck.
