I hate feeling emotionally manipulated. A friend of mine wants me to watch her kids Wed-Sun 4p-10p for 200 bucks a week. I'd love to watch the kids. But I am already emotionally and mentally taxed. I work full time Mon-Fri 7a-330p. After work I try to spend time with my toddler and do some home projects and clean up plus make dinner. To top that all off hubby and I have a large home project coming up in 2 weeks as well as me starting fertility treatments and Idk how I'm going to feel with work stress.
So i told my friend no. Well all week she says but they love you, I'd pay you, the babysitter I had an interview with flaked on me. Each time I have told her no. Gave her my reasons tried to help her even find a sitter and nope I get that's alright I guess I just can't work but thanks anyways.
Am I a jerk for saying no?
Okay 😔 I just hate feeling like I'm being a horrible friend for saying no. And I have always been horrible at saying enough or no. But after I had my daughter in 2017 I had to speak up.
Question.
When I found out I was pregnant my doctor immediately sent me for blood work and a dating ultrasound. My friend called and told her doctor she was pregnant and they told her to wait till she was like 9 or 10 weeks to be seen.
Is this common? Should she fight to be seen earlier?
Hello I am knew here. Im looking to make some new friends on here. My sister told me about her experience and meeting a new friend whom she feels like she has known forever. I am married and I work from home. I am also a college student. I have two boys and they are the best.
So someone contacted me waiting me to watch her son four days a week for $150/wk. I had to tell her that even if someone worked for $10/hr it only pays for a day and a half in my opinion?
I mean maybe I’d do it for $300? But the $150 I just can’t see if being worth it to me

I just finished these 2 stuffed animals for a friend who is due a week before me. Its her first girl!
My friend legit asked me do I feed the babies for yet.. I told her no and she told me “well ima start with apples and bananas” remind you her daughter is only 3months🤦🏽♀️
Not at all! You already work full time and have your own family to take care of. You have other priorities right now at home and with your family planning. She’s kind of a jerk for continuing to ask after you’ve told her no.
