Stars update ! Yesterday they did an xray on her it showed a little bit of fluid on her lungs. They say shes to small to tell if its residual fluid from the csection or pneumonia but because shes having moments of heavy breathing they are extending her iv antibiotics. After 39 hours I finally got to hold her . She got on my chest and melted! The nurse says they usually only do an hour at a time but her stats were so amazing they let me hold her for 2 ! And since then shes improving. Shes down to 25 percent oxygen. Shes just past 48 hours old and my milk it already coming in. Huge secret to getting your milk to come in sooner than later , mother's milk tea. I started it yesterday afternoon and had one for dinner and now breakfast . I started producing about .5 of an ounce now I'm up to an ounce which is amazing because it's so quick!
So happy she is doing well and praying it's just aspiration and not pneumonia!!!! Blow her some kisses for me. Many hugs to you! You're both doing great!!! So happy you've gotten to hold her. I've read so many articles and testimonies where fragile babies thrive bc of being held by mom and dad. Enjoy those little baby snuggles.
Her lungs were completely cleared this morning 🙌🙌 she on room air and is only using the cpap for pressure but she only had two episodes and one was when they were changing her iv out. Shes already a mommas girl and I love it
