So pediatrician wants me to give her a table of mirlax everyday until she’s regulated I rathe do it a natural way so she’s not depending on that. She doesn’t eat veggie like refuses so I make her green smoothies daily, I just got her pear juice & She drinks a lot of water... what other ways can I get her moving I mean it’s only been 2 days & she just got over a virus
Add some chia seeds to her smoothies. I put chia seeds in my son's oatmeal. You can use flaxseeds too, the flaxseeds I grind up before use, the chia seeds I use whole.
Apples make my son go, if she'll eat apples, give her them, prunes are the holy grail, lol, oranges seem to make my son go too. But chia seeds are the win in our house
My son was on a HALF A CAP of miralax every 24 hours because he was so constipated, for years. His gastrointestinal doctor prescribed him miralax and he just now is able to process and absorb foods better
Will she eat baby food??? Baby pears and prunes. My girls drink it from a straw and they drink lots of water. Always helps!
Ground flaxseed and chia seeds are good to put in smoothies, oatmeal, yougurt...pretty much anything and might help.
For my daughter I use Culturelle probiotic and fiber powder. It comes in packets and I give 1/2 or 1 packet per day mixed in juice. She only goes every 2-3 days and I have to force her to sit on the toilet. She hates to poop and holds it. Other than that I make sure she has 3 fruits a day which is hard because she also hates to eat 😩
Wow literally just described my child so I’ll definitely be giving that a try... she’s more so holding it as well
it’s been a problem for her since she was 9 months old 😩 At first I tried Miralax because that’s what her doctor said but there’s no dosage for babies so it was hard to figure out how much to give her. Once I discovered the culturelle I tried that and it helped a lot. She still holds it so I have to bribe her with dessert or candy. It’s frustrating
Prune juice with water and eat soups that week to loosen her stool add soup more into the eating habits
Then once.it is cleared out (pedialax for a few days) incorporate fruit. Peaches and pears really help.keep my kiddo.
I would do pedialax instead of miralax. She hasn't gone in 2 days? The trouble is it is probably as hard as a rock and needs an osmotic laxative to draw water into the colon, soften the poo and clear it. If it sits in there and backs up, it enlarges her colon and then a cycle of constipation can happen. I would do pedialax (watermelon chewables) before miralax. Miralax is not tested on children and can have serious behavioral side effects. Speaking from personal experience.

Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
