so found out today that if baby B doesn't flip to heads down csection will be done. so gotta question for those who had csection how long did your S/O take off work? husband is asking so he can let work know and i have no idea what to tell him cause i had Jerri vaginal and was up doing good on my own so he went back to work in like 3 days cause i had it on my own. i know csection is harder and won't be up doing it all like i was with Jerri

I was extremely lucky to have my husband home for 6 weeks paid.
But honestly after the first 10 days and my staples were removed things were much easier to do on my own.

When I had my twins baby A came out and for some reason baby B ended up breach whenever he checked me again anyway she came out feet first

That happened to me too. I made sure that I had a doctor that would deliver a breach baby. She did great and pulled him out backwards.

Baby b was head up until about 34 weeks. But, then he flipped back up when A came out. Your B can still flip head down.

My hubby was home for 2 weeks with his pay and 6 weeks state paid medical leave to bond with his new child so mine was home for 2 months. I was okay after three weeks or so. I had diabetic complications so I was weak for a while and glad he was there.

I had baby on Thursday and he was back at work Monday. But it was my second csection.
With my 1st I went in on Friday night, had her Sunday morning, went home Wednesday. He was back at work Monday.

Ive had 3 and Mine only took a week off for each. You spend 3 days in the hospital unless something happens. With my first son it was a little harder, but the pain medication helped amazing. The best thing to do is get up and walk. They have these wraps to help you . I would ask for one and pain meds before trying to walk or get up and move. Make sure you lay flat before having the nurse help you put it on. TRUST ME it's the best way to help ease the pain and keep pressure off your incision. Once you're home try to still get up and move but take it easy while doing so. Try not to clean as much (easier said than done) but the best thing is movement and NOT heavy lifting. The actual worst part of the c section is when they push down on your stomach to check and make sure everything is ok and going down, and to see how your bleeding is. That hurts worse than walking . Also try NOT to laugh, it hurts super bad, coughing also hurts and sneezing but not as bad as laughing hard. You will feel some stinging and burning sensations but those are normal. With this c section my son is a week and 2 days old and I'm good to go other than the stinging and burning feeling. My stitches dissolved already on the outside and my bandage came off already. I still cant turn really fast or do super fast movements but it's a lot better I only needed the pain meds the first 2 or 3 days I was home. I actually have left over medication.
