My half sister wanted to babysit my son a few years ago. I refused because I felt that she would be capable of hurting my son just to get at me. She never liked me and has always been crazy with me, screaming at me, mistreating me. I know she would have been capable of so much more if she could have gotten away with it. Don’t do it if you have a bad relationship with this person. If the person is very toxic and hateful with you, that person would be capable of a lot just to see you suffer.

Edit: there are many cases where a babysitter or new gf/bf who didn't like a parent harmed or killed the child.

Yup I had a cousin who let some who didn’t like her watch her daughter and found out she was being mistreated. Good thing she found out before it was too late but everyone told her not to do it
