So I just finished watching the documentary of gabriel fernandez and I just don’t understand why dcfs failed him and has continued to do so with other children. The same thing with cps and acs. Why do they not help the children who need help like Gabriel, Anthony avalos and adrian Jones, when there is more than enough proof? Instead of helping the children that need it, they waste time on bull s*** cases that aren’t even needed and then the children that do need help get ignored. This frustrates me.
They waste time on families who aren’t doing anything wrong just to harass them for months but when there is a case of pure abuse and neglect, they seem to run from it and only show up for like one day then disappear. Why is that? Is it that they won’t get paid good for putting an abused child in foster care? Will they get paid better putting in a child that is considered healthy with no physical or emotional abuse? I don’t trust them. Sometimes I think what are really their intentions and are they doing a fair job with their cases? If someone isn’t doing anything wrong, why prolong a case for months when there is enough evidence that there is no neglect or abuse? When there are clear signs of abuse and neglect, why shorten a case and throw it away like nothing? Something is wrong here. It seems backwards. Things need to change. I don’t get it smh. 😩😤

Foster care has been like this for centuries maybe even decades ... it’s super sad but they really don’t care they mainly do wat they do for money in reality they don’t care where those babies end up 😏

Social workers are under paid and over worked. People flood the system with bs cases that have to do with custody disputes, etc and according to the law they have to follow up on all of those cases. It's unfortunate but with the troubles that our society faces...drug abuse, domestic violence, and just straight up parental neglect, etc social workers are overwhelmed. This in addition to laws that tie their hands...the family court system needs reform but will likely never get it in our lifetime because the people that make the laws are not the ones affected by the backwards laws that plague the system. It's so unfortunate but there will be more cases like these children until something is done higher up in the food chain.

I hate when people waste their time and make a report that isn’t necessary. They take that time away from a child who needs it.

Simple the system is corrupt and they don’t want family cohesiveness ... most the idiots they make for a case don’t have kids etc it’s suck a joke they don’t give two ducks kids get murdered , abused raped ,and everything else and they still choose not to give af .... there’s a probley a handful of ppl that actually care smh 🤦🏽♀️

@kush_queen420, that really sucks. I hate that when they have all of that evidence and they don’t do anything about it. It’s sad that they would leave a kid who gets abused or raped in the care of the person who mistreats them.
I’ve seen videos of kids taken away from good parents and that it takes them a long time to get their child back. That’s scary. There was a case in another state where a worker didn’t care about the families and she kept taking the kids away just to get paid well by placing them in foster care. She actually went to jail. They were not abusive families. They were probably silly cases over nothing, maybe someone just disliking the person or something minor.
