It's my first day back at work and it's so, so sad. I'm doing my med pass and I'm skipping like 5 rooms with both beds empty before I get to the next resident. I still can't believe how many have died ☹

I know! I think statistically about 45% of the nursing home population is gone. I was laid off before covid, and no jobs have surfaced because they don't need the people they have right now for the current population. I went from like 19 job listings to 0 in my area. Crazy.

@oggirl.mom now that you say it I haven't seen any coverage of it in the news either. Its still lives lost. Alot of people seem not to care anymore about the mask and social distancing

@oggirl.mom this is real. Idk why people take it as a joke. I've only been out a few times but I always wear mine and my husband too. My anxiety won't let me go out without a mask knowing I have babies
