So at my OBgyn appointment today, I was told that I’m going to take a steroid shot next week just in case I give birth early. I’m 32 weeks this Friday, and I have a lot of fluid.
Is there anyone here who had to have this shot and did you end up giving birth early or not? Thanks for any info.

My BP was just a bit over normal levels today, and it’s only been the first time. I believe my doctor is more concerned about the fluid. I had my daughter at 39w 1d, so this is new to me.
I had mine from 16 weeks till 34 weeks and he was still born at 35 weeks 😂
@tatted_mommy, o ok yea I had that with my first she was two months early and I had the McKenna shot with my last
@tatted_mommy, yea basically just to make you go full term but nothin has worked with all three 🤷🏼♀️
I got steroid shots for my son he was born at 32 weeks cause I got preeclampsia he got it the night before he was born cause they caught it late. He was in the NICU for a couple of weeks but he's now a healthy 8 year old
