I don’t seem to understand why my doctor keeps telling me that 37 weeks is full term and all the apps say that full term is 39 weeks
I’m a bit confused
They didn’t tell me that
That makes sense
Full term pregnancies
Are doctors really still telling people that 37-38 weeks is full term???? ACOG and SMFM both define full term as 39-40 weeks. 37-38 is term. 41-32 is late term. Babies born at 37+ weeks are almost always just fine but there are clearly researched benefits to going to 39-40.
Is 37 weeks considered full term?🤔
Is 37 weeks considered full term pregnancy?

do to some studies Full Term now is at 39 weeks?
anyone else heard of this???
Question at how many weeks do you mommas consider full term ❓❓❓
At 37 you have entered early term and the risks from baby arriving have gone down. But going through to full term at 39-40 weeks is so important! Though most babies are ok at 37 wks many have some trouble breathing and the significance in brain/lung growth in the last two weeks is substantial!!!
