Mil arrived and realized she may have left her stove on so we all jumped in the car to make the hour drive back to her house just to find the stove in the off position. Thank God! But it took up most of the day. And she spent the night so it was a long day. Anyways, I think it's sad for this business to close more out of nostalgia perhaps than anything. But I really wanted to take my girls at least once bc everytime we pass out local building my husband beams with pride in knowing he helped build the building it is in. And I thought it would be cool to let them play inside and take a photo so I could share it with them one day. I know, I am too sentimental. Lol.

It's NOTHING like when we were kids, at all. That's probably the real reason they're closing. Idk HOW they're 900 MILLION in debt. What did they spend it on?? Certainly not keeping the stores updated and/or taken care of. That's for sure!

I’ve never liked that place (especially before having a child)but I took dd a few times, when she was younger because she did.

I saw our location stripped down not too long ago.

I am sure dd will bring up this place in the future. The food was not good but parents and kids alike raved about it😂. Those dam animatronics can give you nightmares.

YES girl! I remember we'd have birthday parties there and when they served the pizza, cake and all that the "band" with all the animals would play....TERRIFYING! I remember my Mama tryin to get me to stand with em on my birthday so she could get a pic. NOOOOO way, I cried and RAN!! Lol

@leonardsquared, hahahaha oh my. I have never stepped in one until dd asked to go when she was 4. So no childhood memories of those things.

Maybe it went over my head, or my being too interested to read the whole thing 😅 how are they trying to raise 200 mil yet keeping on executives at 1.3 mil? I should probably read the article, lol. I don't think I'm sad about it though

We avoid that place like the plague! It’s overpriced dollar tree toys! The games are fun but tokens are expensive!

My kids will be so upset. They're asking me every few days if the arcade is open.

I agree some are nasty, we go to one that was opened in the last few years and it's still in good condition.

I never went to chuck e cheese except like 2x. I grew up going to Peter piper pizza if u Dnt know what that is it’s basically like Chuck E. Cheese except they don’t do that whole costume thing for the kids

@flamingfiremom Never heard of it but will look it up. Costume thing? I haven't been in so many years I don't know any of the modern ways. But I don't remember any costumes. In sure it has change a lot! My nieces birthday many years was my last time there and I was too focused on family to remember much. 😏

It's not the same since I was a kid. I refuse to take my daughter there. Most are run down, poorly run, and the ones closest to me aren't in the best areas.

That's so sad to hear! The last time I went to one was many years ago for my nieces birthday. My husband was one of the welders who contributed to our local one being built but I've never been to it.

Good morning ladies. Sorry I been ignoring yall but I have been so miserable the past days I'M STILL PREGNANT my contractions would be strong for hours and it looked like I was gonna have a baby then everything just stopped so I got sent home. they said I have to wait till my appointment Wednesday so I can talk to my doctor about the next step. I HATE THIS 😢😢😩

Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
