@raisinglittlegamers, @xryztalroze, @erikak, thank you all so much for the recommendations! I recently got this leave in conditioner which has been helping, but I will have to try some of the others you have recommended and see what works best for her. Also, thank you for informing me that I am washing her hair way too often!! I’ve had straight hair my entire life, but this little one got my mil’s curls lol and now that it’s getting longer and thicker, it has been tricky to take care of.

@raisinglittlegamers, I’ve been washing this poor girls hair 3-4 times a week at minimum like my own lol 😐 (I have very fine straight hair). I’m glad I asked the question and know better now!

My oldest has thick but fine straight hair... It's weird. Then my youngest has curls... But still not as curly as mine 😂.
But my sister's hair looked the same and thickened when she got older.

Good for you to learn about curly hair! My mom also has straight hair and she just cut my hair short. I finally learned to tame it in college and people asked me on a daily basis if those were my real curls ☺

Kynzleighs is still wet. But I have a spray bottle with water /leave in conditioner and a little bit of oil. I use it for detangler use
For shampoo she uses the ogx argan oil
ETA I only wash her hair like 2x a week.
When it looks dry and frizzy I as a little bit of oil to her hair. Not much because I don't want it to look wet... Just don't want it to look frizzy either.
Coconut oil is a good option (I just don't like the smell of coconuts 😂)
Curly hair takes a lot of experimenting to find out what works

Organic coconut oil for moisturizer and I don't know if Marc Anthony shampoo and conditioner are organic but they are really good for curly and wavy hair.

@erikak Fructis makes a nice hair oil. It's in a green pump bottle. Have you tried that one?

I've tried a lot of fructis stuff, but I've started avoiding products with silicones in them and since my pregnancies I can't stand smelly products 😬 so I've resorted to just coconut oil as my main product. I also like aveda stuff but it's expensive lol they have a good curl line though!

I only use shampoo, conditioner, and the coconut oil pictured. I can relate to staying away from scented products. Try the real coconut oil and see if it helps. If you don't like it for your hair you can always use it on your skin.
