Any recommendations for stuff that helps with depression!?
I’m so tired of being sooo depressed!
I have struggled with depression since junior high!
It’s to the point now where I don’t wanna clean house, want to sleep all day, call off work all the time, don’t do much activities with the kids, and I’ve gained a lot of weight from it.
I have also been described medication for it, but after a while it doesn’t help anymore.
I NEED HELP!!
A lot of antidepressants are notorious for having weight gain as a side effect. When I'm on them I have to make extra effort to get up and outside, do yoga and eat healthy. It really helps when I have a strict routine when I'm in a funk so I know what needs to be done instead of having to think.
Also definitely look into therapy. That may help a lot
Tell your doctor about your meds. Sometimes it takes a few tries to find the right one. Hang in there!
Are you in therapy?
Sometimes therapy helps a ton.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!

Hi all AF is due 29th Sept for me feels like forever away. Has anyone tested yet or when do you plan on testing x
I have to be honest, sometimes when you are at the height of depression or in a manic stage of it you need the combo both meds and a therapist to balance out and pull yourself out of that funk. I still see my therapist every week on a tele health app that the practice has since I can’t see her in person due to Rona. It’s been good for coping strategies.
If you’re having a gain or loss of weight, that can affect how your meds work too. Work with your doctor on that part if you’ve noticed a fluctuation. Sometimes a strict routine with exercise and healthy eating helps as far as function. I hope our advice helps
